The night began with cocktails and laughter as attendees arrived at the residence to music mixing from DJ Isabella Massenet. As the evening progressed, guests were captured wearing items from the new Resort Collection which embodies a mid-century surfer-style that harmoniously blends classic and contemporary influences.
Serena Goh was pictured wearing the Shyanne Dress next to Indré Rockefeller in the Cristina Jumpsuit. While cocktail hour wound down, guests moved to the lawn for a whimsical set up for dinner on a table covered in red dahlias overlooking the ocean. The meal was curated by Chef Jess Shadbolt of King, filling plates with seasonal specialties. Loro Piana’s night in Southampton indulged in the mansion’s quintessential life of “en plein air.”
The Summer Resort 2024 Collection launched on May 2 in select Loro Piana storefronts and online portraying a contemporary and distinctly classic style. The collection took inspiration from the Tahitian phrase “La Vie Beureuse”一 the happy life一 which steered the silhouettes to be simple with pure lines that provided a relaxed fit. With the pieces, Loro Piana transports us to an ocean current on an exotic island with white-sandy beaches where you embrace a free-spirited lifestyle.
The Loro Piana Resort Collection embraces the oceanfront vibe with a color palette that ranges from deep blue shades to kummel. The materials in each silhouette are unique, created by Loro Piana, ranging in natural fibers of silk, cotton, and linen. Designs include multi-colored stripes, Tree-of-Life, and hibiscus flower prints all over. Simple volumes are found throughout the looks that are full and loose, offering a bohemian flare. The Loro Piana Summer Resort 2024 Collection combines a practical sophistication with luxury that eludes the feeling of escaping in nature.
