Agnona‘s fall/winter 2016 collection presented during Milan Fashion Week was the very definition of gentle femininity. Debuting his first collection as the creative director of the fashion house, Simon Holloway took on a delicate approach, focusing on earthy tones, chiffon fabrics, and tapered silhouettes.
The collection is comprised of a cosmetic palette, incorporating taupe, nude, lilac, off pink, and red. Unlike Holloway’s predecessor Stefano Pilati, Holloway introduced more soft and muted looks built around a classic female style. The show’s standout pieces included cashmere knitwear, silk dresses, pencil skirts, flared bottoms, and a vibrant red cape.
The looks were paired with tall slim boots and ankle strap heels, in continuation of the discreetly glamorous concept. The ladylike garments were accessorized with sculpted, rose gold Vhernier rings.
