Earlier this month, New York-based media and entertainment company Alldayeverday opened its doors to Project Space, a new event and gallery location in Los Angeles, in collaboration with Kinfolk. In honor of its opening weekend, artist Aaron Rose installed a four-day only, pop-up art bar, La Rosa Club, in the 4,000-square-foot venue located in the Art District of Los Angeles.
Rose’s pop-up featured multiple 3D installations and custom interiors in order to create a hybrid ambience of a Mexican dive bar, a 1960s office building, and a Berlin-inspired underground dance club circa 1982.
The venue’s opening coincided with the L.A. Art Book Fair, which ran from February 11-14. Guests included contemporary artists Terry Richardson, Tauba Auerbach, Kim Gordon, and Geoff McFetridge.
