Linder: Menswear with a Modern Southwestern Flare

Cacti, maroon rugs, and woods of mahogany shades make up Linder’s new collection and subtly remind us of Kirk Millar’s roots—growing up in the Southwest. If there is such a thing as a modern day tumbleweed, it might as well roll right through the brand’s Soho store on Thompson Street in New York, as cowboy shirts shine with mother-of-pearl buttons, and romantic fabrics prove to be the foundation of Linder’s menswear label.

We recently got a sneak peak of the line’s spring/summer 2016 collection, and if corduroy pants or unique knits excite you, well then, you are in for a treat.

Designers Kirk Millar and Sam Linder have effortlessly mastered the look of an urban cowboy, and have together, designed looks from Millar’s past in the southwest. Classic Southwestern designs such as pointed pockets and relaxed proportions allowed for just enough room for modern moto jackets, high-waisted trousers, and even a long bomber jacket that is sure to grace your next wish list. Collarless button-downs, acid wash jeans, and an array of intricately designed cardigans made way into this collection, and simple rings, bracelets, and necklaces rounded out some accessories.

Historical and classic, Linder makes a mark for Southwestern pieces of the future.
