Apple a Day, MOCA, and The Wynwood Yard: Shantell Martin’s Miami

In Miami for the busy art week, and wondering where to eat, see art, or relax? In Whitewaller Miami, we hear from a group of insiders that share their personal favorites. Below, we hear from artist Shantell Martin.

WHERE TO EAT AND SIP
When I’m there, I literally eat breakfast and lunch every day at a place called Apple a Day— really great food, juices, and it’s super casual. The staff is also really nice. The Wynwood Yard is also a great place where musicians often drop in. It’s outdoors and has a number of food trucks.

WHERE TO SEE ART
The PAMM is architecturally really nice inside and out. All in all, I would say just go for a nice long walk, as I’m sure others will mention places like MOCA, Rubell Family Collection, and The Bass.

WHERE TO HAVE FUN AND RELAX
It’s tough, as I normally end up in the same spots—Soho House, The Standard Spa, walking along the beach, walking Old Cutler Trail.

Josh Kline, Thank you for your years of service (Joann/Lawyer), 2016.
