Yesterday in San Francisco, FOG Design + Art kicked off fair week with its annual event, The Innovators Luncheon. Presented by Fendi, the afternoon honored Pamela J. Joyner, a prominent collector and philanthropist.
The lunch was held at the Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture and featured décor inspired by Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2019 women’s collection. The meal coincided with a conversation between Joyner and artist Lorna Simpson, focused on the visionary collector’s efforts to champion and encourage scholarship of African American artists and of the African diaspora.
Joyner and Simpson were joined by guests like Joan Jonas, Neal Benezra, Charles Schwab, Doris Fisher, Alison Gass, Charlotte Shultz, Monique Péan, Courtney Smith, Andy Massad, Lara Deam, Loring Randolph, and more.
