New to the lineup, Stand Out will highlight artistic objects considered to be outliers of brilliance in areas of sculpture and design. “I’m really thrilled to be curating a new section at this autumn’s Frieze Masters: Stand Out,” said Syson. “A more complex, inclusive and interesting history of art emerges when we bring art objects, in a range of media, to the fore. These historic works of art contain ideas and meanings that are amazingly current.”

And finally, the return of Spotlight celebrates the avant-garde in a selection organized by the Executive Director of The Drawing Center, New York, Laura Hoptman. This sector features solo presentations of overlooked artists like Alice Rahon presented by Gallery Wendi Norris, Cecilia Brunson Projects sharing work from Feliciano Centurión, and Beauford Delaney, exhibited by Michael Rosenfeld Gallery.
