Her Clique held a luncheon at Soho Beach House in Miami last Wednesday, December 1, in celebration of its latest collaboration with the artist Blanda. Hosted in partnership with Whitewall Magazine, the event offered partygoers a midday meal and cozy gathering honoring the Swiss-born, Los Angeles-based artist’s recent work for the arts platform, whose focus is twofold: empowering female-identifying creators, while making a difference through art.
Present at the oceanside property were names like Her Clique’s founder Izabela Depczyk, Anne Verhallen, Ashley Leutner, Michael Nevin, Zuzanna Ciolek, and Ambre Kelly, along with the artist herself. With views of the crashing waves below, the intimate group enjoyed a meal and friendly conversation amid a simple-yet-elegant arrangement of white floral centerpieces, complete with copies of Whitewaller Miami present, featuring an interview between Depczyk and Blanda.
Available for sale now on Her Clique’s website, Blanda’s collaboration takes the form of a series of wood panel works, painted with acrylic, oil, and charcoal. Imagined in deep hues of blue, where human figures take on a dreamy, cloudlike quality, the artist’s works will see a portion of proceeds donated to the nonprofit Art of Elysium, which utilizes art to support individuals in crisis.
“The notion of supporting each other as women whilst also supporting our communities through nonprofit organizations is a concept I feel very drawn to,” said the artist in a previous statement. “Teaming up with Her Clique also feels like an organic match as my work has a very feminine and intuitive approach and contains a lot of my own inner work of coming into my female power.”
