Art Singapore 2024

An Early Look at the Third Edition of Art Singapore

This week, Art Singapore takes place. We're bringing you everything you need to know about the fair, and the booths to keep an eye out for.

On January 17 in Singapore, the third edition of Art Singapore (ART SG) descends upon the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Marina Bay Sands, open to the public through January 19. As the most far-reaching presentation for the region, the international affair showcases 105 galleries hailing from 30 diverse countries and territories. Three art sectors are in store for visitors: GALLERIES offers sweeping, multi-artist shows, FOCUS concentrates on solo and duo artist exhibitions, and FUTURES champions emerging galleries under 10 years.

Must-see highlights include the PLATFORM section of the fair with five site-specific, larger-than-life creations, as well as an engrossing FILM realm developed alongside Bangkok Kunsthalle, curated by director Stefano Rabolli Pansera. The engaging fair’s founding and lead partner UBS will debut a meaningful community undertaking and commissioned artworks,  while the notable TALKS program, created in partnership with Aaron Cezar, Director of the Delfina Foundation, harmonizes critical perspectives with visionaries including artists Mandy El-Sayegh and Korakrit Arunanondchai
