Reflecting on an effervescent Miami Art Week, Whitewall caught up with the innovative co-founder of LITO Editions, John Dodelande. A leading-edge entrepreneur as well as an admired collector in the realm of Chinese art, Dodelande took the time to share with us his favorite exhibitions and festivities in The Magic City.

The ICA dinner, along with an intimate dinner hosted by the Lindemann’s brothers, these were great moments. But the ultimate highlight was dining with my friend Erica Pelosini at the Gagosian dinner, where Larry delivered a memorable line: “It’s the first time I don’t know people at my own dinner party.” It perfectly encapsulated the market’s current pivot and the changing face of collectors and clients.

The Tanaami exhibition at the ICA, and the fair itself was great. Yaron Michael Hakim at the Sargent’s Daughters; Tamo Jugeli at Karma. I loved the Yves Salomon chair, too, may I add!

The unique, disconnected-yet-vibrant energy of Miami itself. From stepping into Andre Sakhai’s Cybertruck—driven like in GTA—to waking up and starting Sunday with a fresh matcha before joining Jeff Altam‘s legendary party, which started in the early hours of the morning!
