Sarah Bochicchio

19 July 2013

In Dallas, Texas, Joule Hotel owner Tim Headington, has been working hard to make Andy Warhol, Los Carpinteros, Tony Cragg, Adam Fuss, and Richard Phillips permanent guests.

Soon to be a veritable museum, the hotel is currently undergoing a $78 million renovation and expansion that includes several astonishing additions to its art collection.

A bronze work by Tony Cragg is one of the many major pieces acquired by Headington. However, the collection will also include work from young contemporary artists, such as Noam Rappaport, Anthony Pearson and Rosana Castrillo Diaz, who are just beginning to make their mark.

The building, which was designed by famed architect Adam D. Tihany, exudes contemporary style while retaining its luxurious charm, the perfect home for so many masterpieces. During the expansion, the museum will also become home to new restaurants, stores, suites and penthouses, a rooftop terrace, and spa.
