Design Favorites from ICFF 2017

By Eliza Jordan

May 26, 2017

Held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from May 21-24, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) kicked off with an opening party at MoMA attended by today’s shining and rising designers, artists, gallerists, and curators. The show featured an array of new collections from todays top international design brands, debuting pieces that included indoor and outdoor furniture, seating, accessories, lighting, wall coverings, carpet, and more. In total, there were over 700 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, with an attendance of over 32,000 visitors.

On top of several events, talks, and strong programming this year, ICFF left us thinking about a few key items: MOISSONNIER’s showcase of bespoke designs; Kalmar Werkstätten’s unveiling of its Spinne 35 hanging lamp; Kenneth Cobonpue’s new children’s furniture collection premier; Vitreluxe’s new lighting and decorative accessories; and Naava’s new green wall, which features 10,000 houseplants.
