Since its debut, the Lady Dior has been more than a handbag—it has stood as a symbol of Dior’s timeless codes, sculptural elegance, and boundless reinvention. With its signature cannage motif and architectural lines, the Lady Dior has long embodied the House’s artistry. For the past decade, the Dior Lady Art project has taken that icon and handed it over to the imagination of leading contemporary artists, inviting bold reinterpretations that bridge the worlds of art and couture.
In 2025, Dior celebrates the tenth edition of Dior Lady Art, marking ten years of extraordinary collaborations that have transformed the bag into a canvas of creativity. This anniversary edition offers carte blanche to ten visionary artists from across the globe—Jessica Cannon, Patrick Eugène, Eva Jospin, Ju Ting, Lakwena, Lee Ufan, Sophia Loeb, Inès Longevial, Marc Quinn, and Alymamah Rashed. From France to Korea, Brazil to China, their reinterpretations fuse heritage with innovation, resulting in striking new dialogues between matter and meaning.

Each bag becomes a work of art in its own right, evoking personal narratives, cultural landscapes, and poetic sensations. Some channel memories of nature and dreamlike journeys, while others explore the fragility of emotion or the invisible forces that unite us. United by virtuoso craftsmanship, the series underscores Dior’s unwavering commitment to creative freedom and savoir-faire, offering an explosion of textures, colors, and forms that push the boundaries of imagination.

Among this year’s highlights, French artist Eva Jospin continues her dialogue with Dior, first initiated with the Autumn-Winter 2021-2022 Haute Couture collection. Known for her fantastical installations composed of intricate forests and architectural motifs, Jospin has conceived a Lady Dior that resembles a bucolic stroll through lush vegetation. Embroidered foliage entwines with miniature charms, including a delicate balustrade inspired by the balconies of 30 Montaigne. In Jospin’s hands, the Lady Dior becomes a celebration of couture, nature, and architecture—fragile yet enduring, monumental yet intimate.

Painter Inès Longevial brings a kaleidoscope of emotions to her three unique designs, rooted in her pursuit of making the face “speak.” Her portraits, suspended between light and shadow, become landscapes of feeling. One bag features her iconic blue-toned female figure gazing out with quiet intensity, while another, crowned with ostrich feathers, assembles a patchwork of twenty of her most iconic works. A mini version translates her vision into all-over embroidery, with linings transformed into a starry sky and charms shaped as Monsieur Dior’s lucky star. Each detail is infused with poetry, turning the Lady Dior into a vessel for reverie.

With this tenth edition, Dior affirms the Lady Dior’s enduring legacy as both icon and incubator of artistic metamorphosis. A tribute to passion, imagination, and craftsmanship, Dior Lady Art continues to redefine the conversation between art and fashion—proving that, a decade on, the Lady Dior remains as timeless as ever.
