Continuing to honor the posh hotel fair format, Felix LA places its focus on meaningful partnerships within the community, forming close bonds with emerging and long-established artists, dealers, and collectors. With its avante-garde and pioneering spirit, the beloved fair recently collaborated with iconic Dover Street Market during its 2024 edition.

Within this dynamic realm, Felix and Dover Street Market commissioned masterful artist and sculptor Oscar Tuazon to develop a site-specific haven for the brand’s singular labels as well as limited-edition treasures and bespoke products. The seventh edition of the fair is sure to offer another riveting artistic and cultural experience for all.

Local gallery Megan Mulrooney, located in buzzing West Hollywood, will unveil esteemed artist Nick Taggart’s “Love Letter to Los Angeles.” The solo exhibition by the LA-based creative invites visitors to become immersed in beguiling paintings created between 1976 and 1987. Here, a rich dialogue is sparked between the vivacious portraits of cultural icons and the hotel’s own shimmering Hollywood fairy-tale.

Magenta Plains of New York unveils the mesmeric work of Chason Matthams. The perceptive artist investigates mysterious shards of human consciousness by way of lush colorways and extraordinary perspectives. Meanwhile, in a diverse group presentation, James Cope offers the dazzling explorations of David Flaugher, Phillip Gabriel, Mia Goldstein, Maria Haag, Ben Horns, Kathryn Kerr, Leslie Martinez, Michelle Rawlings, and Coco Young

Fair goers also won’t want to miss Charles Moffett’s exhibition within the divine Cabana Garden Rooms at the hotel. Inside, New York-based artist Maggie Ellis invites guests to journey through a fresh series of paintings, while the outdoor veranda will bloom with ceramic sculptures from the skillful LA-based creative Bari Ziperstein. Further, artists Alec Egan, Hopie Hill, Julia Jo, Melissa Joseph, and Kenny Rivero will enhance the comprehensive presentation.

The distinguished albertz benda will also be present at Felix, uniting illustrious artists Tanya Aguiña, Sharif Bey, Larissa de Souza, Kevin Brisco Jr., Jin Jeong, and Tony Marsh. Seoul-born and New York-based visionary Jeong’s sensual paintings are energized by the ebb and flow of the human form. The “emotional landscapes,” to use the artist’s own words, voyage through interludes of tranquility and ferocity as visual poetry.
