On February 13, 2026, a new Paris-based performance house steps into the spotlight. GENESIS, the inaugural work by Maison Enclave, is not presented as a show, but as an encounter—an immersive, sculptural experience where movement, sound, light, and material operate as equal forces.
Staged at Le Consulat Voltaire, GENESIS explores rebirth and transformation not as myth or spirituality, but as an artistic act of evolution. Classical ballet collides with contemporary movement; live performance merges with immersive installation. The result is a living artwork—raw, cinematic, and deeply physical—where the audience is not a passive observer but an active presence within the work itself.
A Performance Without a Stage

The spatial choreography of GENESIS dissolves traditional hierarchies between performer and viewer. The audience stands in a half-circle formation, close to the dancers, as a large mirror installation reflects both movement and spectatorship back into the piece. The effect is disorienting and intimate: bodies multiply, gestures echo, and perception becomes part of the choreography.
Movement, sound, and light are treated not as supporting elements, but as co-authors of the experience. Music shapes the architecture of motion; choreography activates the space as a living environment rather than a stage. What unfolds is not a linear narrative, but a sensorial arc—one that is felt as much as it is seen.
Fashion as Second Skin

Costume plays a critical role in the sculptural language of GENESIS. Developed in collaboration with Rick Owens, the garments extend the body into space, amplifying gesture and tension while reinforcing the performance’s avant-garde, high-fashion tone.
Rather than functioning as wardrobe, the costumes operate as material architecture—echoing Maison Enclave’s interest in fashion as an experiential medium, one that moves, breathes, and transforms alongside the performers.
Art as Connective Tissue

At the heart of GENESIS, art functions as the connective tissue binding movement, fashion, music, and space into a single immersive ecosystem. Paris-based installation artist Antoine Schmitt, digital artist Anne-Sarah Le Meur (Galerie Charlot), and multidisciplinary artist Eric Vernhes contribute works that explore perception, corporeality, and human interaction through kinetic and computational processes.
Upstairs, the experience expands through Split Weft, a luminous, suspended installation by EJTECH—the polydisciplinary duo formed by Judit Eszter Kárpáti and Esteban de la Torre. Rooted in material research and programmable textiles, the installation breathes quietly with the room, holding performers in sculptural stillness while mirroring the raw intensity of the performance below.

Founded by Audrey Freeman, Maison Enclave positions itself at the intersection of contemporary ballet, live music, fashion, and spatial design. With GENESIS, the house introduces a format that resists categorization—part performance, part installation, part ritual—crafted for intimate audiences and designed to live beyond a single evening through memory, documentation, and cultural dialogue.
In an era saturated with spectacle, GENESIS proposes something quieter yet more radical: a total artwork that engages the senses, intellect, and body simultaneously. It is a beginning not only for Maison Enclave, but for a renewed way of thinking about performance as an immersive, interdisciplinary art form.
