The Armory Show is taking place this week at Pier 92 & Pier 94 in New York. Whitewall was at the opening preview on Wednesday, where spirits were up and attendance was high. Above is a slideshow of works that caught our eye, on the contemporary side, including a selfie-inducing Glenn Kaino hanging sculpture from Honor & Fraser, several lovely small paintings by Alex Katz at Monica de Cardenas, a compelling installation by Brandon Ballengée at Ronald Feldman Fine Arts on extinction, and a heady re-staging of a Michael Müller exhibition at Galerie Thomas Schulte.
