Basel’s gallery-led June Art Fair returns to Riehenstrasse 90B for its 2023 edition, open from June 12—18. Within the walls of the Herzog & de Meuron-designed concrete bunker-turned-art-space—located within perfect walking proximity to the rest of the fairs taking place this week—the fair will host 20 galleries from ten different countries, bringing group, duo, and solo presentations of contemporary artists.
Exhibiting this year are founding galleries like the Oslo-based space VI, VII, who is sharing work by Martin Sæthe; Copenhagen’s Christian Andersen, presenting the artist Lina Viste Grønli; and Misako & Rosen of Tokyo, who is bringing a show of the artist Reina Sugihara. Fairgoers can also expect to find the work of Gaia Vincensini and Hatice Pinarbasi with Goudel de Stampa of Paris; Berlin’s Efremidis presenting the work of Cécil Lempert and Tamar Magradze, Judith Dean with London gallery South Parade; Parisa Kind from Frankfurt with the work of Charlotte Thrane; and special projects from galleries Établissement d’en face and PROVENCE.
