June Art Fair 2024 also features the returning trans-European publishing house and contemporary art agency PROVENCE’s installation, which draws from its rich archive. The PROVENCE booth features ten paintings, made by the collective in 2015 by transferring archived pieces from onto stretched denim.

In addition to its returning exhibitors, June Art Fair 2024 introduces a range of global new gallery participants. This includes Cento in Glasgow presenting Jorunn Hancke Øgstad and Bobby Yu Shuk Pui; Lagune Ouest in Copenhagen exhibiting artists Sidsel Meineche Hansen, Therese Henningsen, and John Sandroni; Magician Space in Beijing highlighting Qianyu Li; PALAS in Sydney bringing Marco Fusinato and Shaun Gladwell; and PHD Group in Hong Kong presenting Michele Chu and Sasaoka Yuriko.

Highlights from June Art Fair 2024

With its combination of solo exhibits and group presentations, June Art Fair’s participating galleries work to showcase an intergenerational approach to the fair’s artwork.

Jacky Strenz, a Frankfurt-based gallery, presents German-Iraqi sculptor Lin May Saeed’s animal-focused work, which is currently on view at both GAMeC in Bergamo and Biennale Gherdëina in Ortisei. Throughout her career, Saeed uplifted the relationship between animals and humans, as seen in her sculpture work.

Sydney’s PALAS brings a combination of works by Marco Fusinato, who presented his oeuvre at the 59th Venice Biennale, and Shaun Gladwell, who was featured in the 53rd Venice Biennale.

The Green Gallery in Milwaukee presents an arrangement of new works by artist Margaret Lee. Her latest paintings blend the tradition of New York abstraction with unorthodox stray from the formalism of painting. With Lee’s combination of historical painting but with her distinct style, The Green Gallery contributes to June Art Fair’s mission to blend generations of artistic contributions.
