This spirited week in Basel, the vivacious June Art Fair rejoices in its 2025 edition, on view through June 22 at Riehenstrasse 90B, 4058 Basel. Here, a legendary concrete bunker evolves into an immersive gallery encounter designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron.

Staying true to its roots as a cutting-edge art experience, the fair brings together art lovers, collectors, and aficionados from around the world to embark upon multi-faceted exhibitions, culinary delights, and special projects.
The Foundation of June Art Fair

In 2019, the very first edition of June Art Fair unfolded in the midst of a buzzing Basel Art Week. Deftly led by galleries, the fair was created as an independent alternative, merging a meticulously curated group of participants spanning generations. The booth-free structure, humble scale, and close proximity to Messeplatz and Art Basel have deemed it a treasure of the art’s calendar.

Today, seamlessly organized by VI, VII (Oslo) and Christian Andersen (Copenhagen), the Landhof Community Garden embraces the locale as a shimmering destination of community, culture, and authenticity.
Returning and New Participants at June Art Fair 2025

This year, the Basel fair offers a myriad of returning gallery presentations from iconic spaces such as VI, VII (Oslo), Christian Andersen (Copenhagen), Ellen de Bruijne Projects (Amsterdam), Galerie Fabian Lang (Zurich), Lagune Ouest (Copenhagen), Parisa Kind (Frankfurt), and The Green Gallery (Milwaukee).

In addition, visitors can look forward to a colorful parade of new exhibitors with forward-thinking shows. Make sure to carve out time to explore Banda Municipal (Mexico City), Charim Galerie (Vienna), C.C.C. (Copenhagen), Jennifee-See Alternate (Copenhagen), L’Appartement (Geneva), No Man’s Art Gallery (Amsterdam), Galerie Petra Seiser (Attersee), and Season 4 Episode 6 (London).
