From April 27 to May 2, ZⓈONAMACO Art Week 2021 is taking place throughout Mexico City, presenting special projects by local galleries.
Coinciding with ongoing online programming of ZⓈONAMACO, this week, all local galleries are invited to propose an exhibition project, either individual or in collaboration with other exhibitors. The fair aims to bring the community together through the alliance of galleries, artists, collectors, professionals, designers, and the general public.
Participating galleries include OMR, Galería RGR, MAIA Contemporary, GALERÍA HISPÁNICA, Morán Morán, and more.
The fair will also host ZⓈONAMACO PATIO, a program of art interventions in public spaces launching simultaneously in Mexico City. Installations, photography, performances, sculptures, and ephemeral pieces will be showcased, encouraging discussion of the role of the public sphere, especially given the current moment.
ZⓈONAMACO will also be accessible online as a continuation of its year-long virtual program, featuring monthly public conversations.
