Artist Dustin Yellin welcomed guests to his Red Hook studio on Sunday in Brooklyn, NY to celebrate Pioneer Works’ Second Annual Village Fête. The non-profit organization dedicated to art, innovation, science, and education, celebrated notable names, DIY Bombay Sapphire cocktails, a silent auction hosted by Paddle8’s Alexander Gilkes, and a lovely dinner catered by The Cleaver.
Art up for auction was donated by Yellin along with BoscoSodi, Carol Bove, Ernesto Caivano, Shepard Fairey, Ethan Greenbaum, Samuel Jablon, Yuri Masnyj, Shirin Neshat, Henrique Oliveira, Brie Ruais, Mickalene Thomas, Sara VanDerBeek, Massimo Vitali, Lawrence Weiner, and more.
English supermodel Poppy Delevingne also celebrated her 29th birthday in style at the event, and alongside her close friends Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung, Harley Viera-Newton, Lauren Santo Domingo, and sisters Alexandra and Theodora Richards. Also in attendance for the good cause was actress Lucy Liu, vocal artist Solange Knowles, environmentalist Benjamin Bronfman, Girls actress Jemima Kirke, DJ Leigh Lezark, model Karen Duffy, Designer Wes Gordon, and Greek shipping heir, Starvos Niarchos III.
As the sun went down, music continued to play from MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden from behind the DJ table, and atop the warehouse, reclined guests celebrated the end of a successful evening.
