For Frieze Week 2017, Whitewaller handpicked a few insiders—a select group of those in-the-know on all things London—that shared with us how to navigate the city during the art fair. Next up, we have designer Tim Gosling, who shares his top spots to eat, drink, network, and relax this week.
WHERE TO EAT AND SIP
One of my favorite places is the Trinity Restaurant here in Clapham Old Town. The chef, Adam, was given a Michelin star last year and the food is amazing. If I were just having a snack and a cocktail in the center of London, you really can’t beat the bar at Sheekey’s. It’s wonderfully old school and still with a great clientele.

WHERE TO SEE ART
The Soane Museum is on the top of my list of museums to visit if you haven’t already—it is the only totally intact Regency house. The sculpture and paintings are arranged to blow your head off. A visit to the National Portrait Gallery is also a must—its collection is unparalleled.
WHERE TO HAVE FUN AND RELAX
Relaxing in London . . . slightly an oxymoron, as there is so much to see and do, but on a lazy Sunday morning or afternoon taking a walk down the South Bank by the London Eye and on toward the Globe Theatre, across the wobbly bridge to Saint Paul’s Cathedral, is a great way to let go.
