Monday night at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) was a sight for fun-loving eyes. In partnership with Surface Magazine, PAMM hosted a dinner for the museum’s very own Jorge Pérez—Surface Magazine’s most recent cover star—and a performance by the Miami Symphony Orchestra. As the end of dinner neared for all 125 guests, an open bar by the swinging hammocks opened up, and those in attendance enjoyed the striking views of Miami Beach from PAMM’s open patio.
To end the night in true celebration, Wyclef Jean offered a rare performance, and Jorge Pérez was even seen joining in on the night’s lively performance atop Jean’s shoulders. Special guests like Melky Jean, Marc Lotenberg, Mario Testino, Spencer Bailey, Oren Alexander, Barry Sternlicht, Robbie Antonio, John and Catherine Pawson, Chad and Ilona Oppehnheim, Simon and Michaela de Pury, Philip Levine, Jean Pigozzi, Marcel Wanders, Nicolas Berggruen, Almine Rech, David Maupin, José Andrés, Abby and Matt Bangser, Liz Swig, Bettina Korek, Doreen Remen, Casey Fremont Crowe, Ben Pundole, Olivia Steele and Joe Gebbia were seen merging art, design, real estate, and business.
