New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) opens NADA New York 2024 from May 2 to May 5 on the fourth floor of 548 West in West Chelsea’s gallery district. The fair is set to showcase 92 galleries, art spaces, and non-profit organizations from 15 different countries. In addition to presentations from 34 first-time participants, the fair features daily discussions and panel conversations that are free and open to the public. This year’s TD Bank Curated Spotlight organized by curator and writer Simon Wu will feature five presentations from exhibiting galleries.
TD Bank Returns for the Curated Spotlight
This year’s Curated Spotlight is once again supported by TD Bank and will feature five presentations from exhibiting galleries. Curator and writer Simon Wu organized this fifth edition of the Curated Spotlight Program. The highlighted artists and galleries are Emma Safir (Blade Study), Kirsty Budge (Daine Singer), Jongwan Jang (FOUNDRY SEOUL), Dorian Reid (KAPP KAPP), and Hunter Amos (Strada).
“For NADA New York, I wanted to highlight a few spaces that are not only showing underrepresented artists, but are also striving to create sustainable communities and healthy futures for them,” Wu said. “These galleries––from New York to Seoul to Melbourne––are trying to rethink what a gallery should be today, and they imbue this care into how they approach commerce, visibility, and community. I am grateful for NADA and TD Bank for the chance to support them.”
