The Best of Norwegian Craft and Design in “Norwegian Presence”

No contributor

The Klubben (The Norwegian Designers’ Union), Norwegian Crafts, and Norwegian Icons have collaborated on a new exhibition project entitled “Norwegian Presence.” Set to coincide with Milan Design Week, the exhibition opens today in an industrial space at Ventura Lambrate, Ventura Projects’ tenth manifestation.

The show features the best of Norway’s handcraft and design, both past and present, with over 51 products made by 46 Norwegian designers and artisans. Internationally acclaimed stylists Kråkvik & D’Orazio transformed the factory space and objects into “a landscape not unlike the country itself,” complete with “walls like mountains and valleys” painted in colors by the manufacturer Jotun.

Norwegian Presence will be on view April 15-17, 2015
