Untitled Art’s 10th edition takes place in Miami Beach under the artistic direction of Omar López-Chahoud. This year, the fair has invited four guest curators to present its largest and most international presentation to date. Natasha Becker is highlighting artists whose work is inspired by Africa and its diaspora in the Americas, and Miguel A. López is investigating the relationship between the body and performance by artists from Latin America, with a special emphasis on the Caribbean and Central America, alongside artists from Asia, Africa, and Europe. Estrellita Brodsky and José Falconi are curating a survey of Latin American artists dating from the 1960s to today.
Oceanside, over 145 international galleries will present works by today’s established and emerging contemporary artists, including albertz benda, El Apartamento, Gallery 1957, L21 Gallery, Selenas Mountain, WHATIFTHEWORLD, and ZieherSmith.
In response to the economic crisis brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, Untitled Art is also introducing their Nest sector, which will offer 23 emerging galleries, collectives, and nonprofits a more financially practical opportunity to present their work to a new collector base. Highlights from Nest include Calderón Ruiz, The New Arts Foundation, Elijah Wheat Showroom, Hayworth, and Lokkus.
