Video: Artist Tony Oursler Directs David Bowie’s New Music Video

By Whitewall

January 9, 2013

To celebrate his 66th birthday, David Bowie surprised fans by releasing “Where Are We Now,” his first song in ten years. That’s epic by itself, but it gets better. For the music video, he tapped multimedia artist, Tony Oursler, as director, giving it just the right amount of eeriness that is Bowie’s style.

“Where Are We Now” is the lead single on Bowie’s new album, “The Next Day,” which debuts in March on the eve of his exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
