Presenting 30 galleries at Klybeck 610
The return of VOLTA Basel (June 12—18) sees the fair bringing a curated lineup of presentations by 30 galleries to a new home, Klybeck 610, located at Gärtnerstrasse 2. Conceived to present collectors with the best of contemporary artists and galleries, this is the fair’s first year to feature an invite-only presentation roster, which encompasses art spaces from 16 countries.
Highlighting an international perspective
Hand-picked to frame an artistic dialogue considering internationality and exclusivity, attendees can expect to find art on view indoors in the typical booth format, as well as in a plein-air sculpture garden located on the grounds of the venue. Spread across these spaces, participating galleries include spaces like the Germany-based Galerie Thomas Fuchs and Galerie Heike Strelow; Swiss art spaces including Lechbinska, Artstübli Gallery, and Atelier Toru Wada, Sobering of France; Spain’s Victor Lope, LEE & BAE from South Korea; the Morocco-based Africarty; ARKA of Lithuania; the Netherlands-based NL=US; and Ethan Cohen from New York.
