Last Friday in Miami, Whitewall joined The Good Society to host an intimate lunch and conversation on the rooftop of Esmé Miami Beach, commencing the 2022 edition of Art Week.
Joining the co-hosts were event partners and key leaders from Lonely Whale, like its founder Adrien Grenier and its Director of Strategy, Emy Kane; Apollo‘s Founder and CEO, Michael Miller, and its Curator and Head of Content Strategy, Santiago R. Guggenheim; the Founder and CEO of Vertical Crypto Art, Micol Ap; and the artist Nate Mohler.
Upon arrival, guests mingled over drinks and copies of Whitewaller Miami 2022 and Whitewall‘s latest winter issue before taking a seat and enjoying a calming sound bath and brief musical performance.
With a breeze in the air and a soothing tone set, panelists were introduced, and a discussion about the social impact of the digital transition within art began.
Kane, Miller, Guggenheim, Heimann, Ap, and Mohler spoke about the rise and current status of digital art within the creating, curating, and collecting sectors of art, as well as the importance of sustainability and community within various fields.
After the conversation commenced, a family-style lunch was served—including bites like a large Latin chop salad, Molletes sandwiches, and dulce de leche churros—and one last cocktail toast to the 2022 edition of Miami Art Week was held.
