Outside of attending NOMAD Monaco, relaxing at the Monte Carlo Beach Club, or eating dim sum at Song Qi, Whitewaller highly recommends paying a visit to these galleries during your time in Monaco.
Niki de Saint Phalle “Last night I had a dream”
Galerie de Jonckheere, Les Plages
April 25–June 29
Galerie de Jonckheere is showing for the first time in Monaco an immersive installation of work by Niki de Saint Phalle. Entitled “Last night I had a dream,” the exhibition includes a set of 18 sculptures. Each is a different figure inspired by the artist’s dreams and imagination. Nanas, fetish animals, symbols of her travels, and her romantic relationships are expressed in this joyous installation, which feels like a colorful, dreamlike memory.
