In collaboration with local institutions, Art Basel Miami Beach extends its reach across the city. Partner museums—including ICA Miami, Pérez Art Museum Miami, and The Bass—present major exhibitions timed to the fair. Through these initiatives, Art Basel reinforces Miami’s position as a thriving cultural hub whose influence resonates far beyond its shoreline.

The city itself becomes a living gallery, as artist talks, performances, and curated events unfold throughout neighborhoods from South Beach to the Design District. Private collections such as the Juan Carlos Maldonado Collection, Rubell Museum, Margulies Collection at the Warehouse, and Marquez Art Projects open their doors to visitors, revealing rarely seen works that deepen the dialogue between global and local perspectives. At night, fashion houses, design studios, and luxury brands join in, hosting celebrations that blur the lines between art, lifestyle, and innovation—creating an immersive cultural ecosystem that defines Miami’s unique spirit during the first week of December.
