Rema Hort, 15, is a native New Yorker. She was born in Manhattan and attends high school in Brooklyn. She is the daughter of a hippie and a historian, who contains attributes of both. By the age of eight became a tour guide for the Hort Family Collection eventually doing all of the research required for the job herself. She enjoys oil painting, writing, the ocean, and never doing what is expected of her (that includes her parent's expectations to do the dishes.)
