This month, Valentino brings its signature Italian design and fashion flare to 4,765 square feet of Miami’s Design District. Through combining both old and new concepts to generate a Palazzo-like feel, creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli worked with David Chipperfield for the design of the new boutique.
The Miami location’s architecture was created to complement the items on display, focusing attention on the collections and eliciting a sense of intimacy. Oak, marble, glass, soft carpets, thick leather, and grey Venetian terrazzo with Carrara chippings are just a few of the opulent materials used in succeeding this sumptuous representation. The collection is featured on brass-supported oak hangings and incorporates sophisticated LED lighting that allows each shelf to be individually lit.
The prepossessing two-story structure offers the warmest welcome to the Design District through luxe and splendor and invites opulence in.
The new boutique is located at 140 NE 39th Street in Miami, FL.
