Atelier Courbet Announces Gallery Revamp and Mario Milana Chairs

No contributor

Atelier Courbet has announced the reopening of its master craftsmen’s gallery on March 10. Renovated in collaboration with Ross Morgan and his team at The Little Red House, the shop and gallery are set within a 19th-century SoHo building formerly owned by coachbuilder Brewster & Co., with new salons adding additional space to the boutique.

With plans for a two-part exhibition in May and October of this year, which will include pieces by silversmith Weiner Silber Manufactur and crystal manufacturer Lobmeyr, the gallery has also announced the release of a new seating collection in celebration of its renovation. Created by Italian designer Mario Milana, the line features circular hand-stitched leather backs and hand-welded minimalist brass framework, demonstrating the craftsmanship and simplicity for which the artisan strives.
