Last night, Berluti debuted its collaboration with designer Maarten Baas in Miami. At a cocktail party in the brand’s Design District boutique, guest like Pietro Beccari, Carlos de la Cruz, Kris Van Assche, Silvia Venturini Fendi, Derek Blasberg, Delfina Delettrez, Diana Widmaier-Picasso, Simon & Michaela De Pury, Andre Saraiva, Scout LaRue Willis, Emmanuel Perrotin, and Craig Robins got a first look at four unique pieces made by Baas: a chaise lounge, valet, and two mirrors.
As we’ve come to expect (and enjoy!) from the designer, the unique pieces reinterpret classic furniture essentials with classic Baas humor. He used his signature hand-modeled clay technique, which gives the chaise especially a playful look that happily remind us of Tim Burton claymation film or anything from the set of Beetlejuice (in the best way).

A private dinner was held afterwards at the de la Cruz Collection, hosted by Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz and Pietro Beccari, the CEO of Fendi.
