Bremont Expands Its Terra Nova Jumping Hour with Dazzling Burgundy, Pale Pink, and Luminous Steel

The perfect watch for skiing, diving, or boarding a plane now arrives in frosty pale pink, rich burgundy, and dazzling steel.

British watchmaker Bremont has announced the expansion of its Terra Nova collection, first launched in 2024. A contemporary reinterpretation of the classic field watch, the collection is recognized by its cushion-shaped case, low profile, and shortened lugs. Its design draws inspiration from early 20th-century military pocket and trench watches—utilitarian timepieces originally made for men in combat, reimagined today through a modern lens.

Five new editions join the family: the Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour, Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Frosted, Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Burgundy, Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Frosted Pink, and Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour Burgundy. Across the 35mm and 40.5mm models, Bremont introduces a rich burgundy alongside a softer frosted pink, expanding a palette that increasingly makes color part of the Terra Nova identity.

A Jumping Hour with Vintage Appeal

At the heart of each new timepiece is the Bremont Calibre BC634, developed through an exclusive partnership with Sellita and first introduced at Watches and Wonders in 2024. The automatic movement powers a high-torque jumping-hour complication, delivering instantaneous hour changes in less than one-tenth of a second and offering a 56-hour power reserve.

“The Terra Nova Jumping Hour has always been about design with real character,” says Davide Cerrato, CEO of Bremont. “The montre à guichet display gives it an identity unlike anything else in our collection.”

The new 35mm format brings a particularly vintage sensibility to that display. Its smaller proportions recall historic dress and field watches while creating a more compact way to wear the complication. The Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour pairs a polished and brushed 904L steel case with either a matching steel bracelet or grey nubuck leather strap. Dual apertures at 12 and 6 o’clock display the hours and minutes, with Bremont’s logo positioned at the center.

Its burgundy counterpart introduces a more vivid proposition. A sunray lacquered burgundy dial anchors the watch, complemented by vertically arranged hour and minute windows, an applied silver star, and dot hour markers.

Burgundy Goes Bigger

The Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour Burgundy takes the same color story into a larger, more contemporary silhouette. Crafted from polished and brushed 904L steel, its hour and minute apertures are positioned to the left of center, disrupting the traditional symmetry of the dial.

A rich burgundy finish pairs with the Terra Nova’s oversized crown and signature minute track, punctuated by lume-filled triangular markers for visibility. The model can be worn on a steel bracelet or burgundy leather strap, allowing the new shade to either punctuate the watch or envelop it entirely.

“Burgundy, we’re continuing to build our world of British colours, following on from the success of pink,” Cerrato says. “It’s a palette that feels distinctly ours, and one we’ll keep exploring.”

Frosted Steel Meets Pale Pink

The Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Frosted Pink offers the collection’s softest interpretation and is limited to just 200 pieces. Its lacquered sunray pale pink dial features alternating diamond, dot, and star hour markers, housed within a polished and frosted 904L steel case and finished with a pale pink nubuck leather strap.

The frosted treatment follows the 2025 Terra Nova Jumping Hour Aventurine, translating the shimmer of that model into the metal itself. The textured steel catches and scatters light across the geometric case, creating an almost diamond-like effect.

For an even more distilled expression, the Frosted is limited to 150 pieces. Its textured 904L steel montre à guichet case becomes the focal point, with a shimmering finish that emphasizes the sculptural geometry of the watch.
