Ten years ago, Lenny Kravitz and his multidisciplinary design studio, Kravitz Design, partnered with CB2 for the first time. Through a collaborative collection with the brand, he introduced a suite of 20 new home furnishings inspired by silhouettes from the 1970s and California.

In 2021, a second partnership followed, introducing a collection of pieces that referenced global design influences—from Parisian style to African textiles. Most recently, the award-winning musician and designer celebrated the debut of his third collection with the home brand, featuring 62 pieces inspired by Southern California.

Influenced by European modernism, California’s iconic Case Study Houses, and the relaxed elegance of Malibu, the new collection balances bold silhouettes with ease and warmth. With materials like Breccia marble, Italian twill, woven leather, and stainless steel, the capsule achieves exactly that.
“My aim was to create a collection of pieces that feel timeless,” said Kravitz.

Among the highlights is the Kanan sofa, upholstered in a custom Italian twill that speaks to both comfort and resilience. Its sleek silhouette shines with understated luxury, especially when paired with the matching Kanan chair. Together, the two demonstrate Kravitz’s ability to merge performance with sophistication—a talent he embodies on and off stage.

“From Italian twills and marbles to thoughtfully designed upholstery and lighting, Lenny’s perspective ensures each piece balances artistry and function,” said CB2 President Ryan Turf.

Equally striking are the Rohe marble tables, available in coffee, side, and dining variations. Each piece layers a leather-finished Breccia marble top over a streamlined stainless-steel base—an homage to the precision of International Style architecture. The effect is strong yet refined, instantly grounding any space with character.

The collection also reintroduces a Kravitz Design favorite in a new form: the Rake lounge chair and ottoman. Originally a dining chair, the updated version centers relaxation with a sculptural stainless-steel frame, softened by suede cushions. Lighting makes a sculptural statement, too, in the “Nagara” series, with bent steel frames and marble bases anchoring rice paper shades.

Completing the collection is the hand-knotted Sirocco rugs, which bring subtle pattern, texture, and warmth to the floor, harmonizing with the capsule’s neutral palette of ivory, toffee, sand, charcoal, and black.
