Over the last few years, Panerai has partnered with Design Miami/ to present the Panerai Design Miami/ Visionary Award. Past recipients include Yves Béhar and SHoP Architects.
This year, in addition to presenting the award to a group for the first time—the Mwabwindo School, a collaborative project in rural Zambia with 14+ Foundation, Selldorf Architects, Rashid Johnson, and Christ & Gantenbein—the watchmaker debuts an inaugural exhibition within its booth at the fair.

The occasion also marks the launch of a limited-edition timepiece from Panerai, the new Radiomir 3 Days Acciaio. The watch harkens back to the aesthetic origins of Panerai, with its iconic, simple dial and blue outlined hands. For the design purist, this watch resonates with a polished stainless steel cushion case, black dial, large hour markers, and numerals.
The Radiomir 3 Days Acciaio features the P.3000 mechanical caliber, a hand-wound power reserve of three days, and a sapphire crystal porthole on the back side to reveal the timepiece’s sophisticated inner workings. It is presented in a pear wood box with a certified serial number.

Design Miami/ is open December 6—10.
