Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Design Miami returns to Miami Beach from December 3–7, with a preview day on December 2. This 21st edition, curated by Glenn Adamson, takes place alongside Art Basel Miami Beach and reaffirms the fair’s role as the leading global forum for collectible design.

This year’s curatorial theme, Make. Believe., captures the spirit of the design avant-garde across time—spotlighting visionaries of the past, present, and future. Visitors can expect museum-quality presentations of 20th- and 21st-century furniture, lighting, and objets d’art, sourced from the world’s most respected design galleries. As always, the fair will be enriched by immersive brand collaborations, reinforcing Design Miami’s place at the intersection of culture, design, and commerce.
“We will emphasize the ongoing evolution of collectible design, showcasing the greatest minds of design today, and unveiling the processes driving design forward,” said Adamson.

With its unique blend of historical depth and cutting-edge creativity, Design Miami 2025 promises to be both a reflection on two decades of influence and a bold look ahead. For collectors, curators, and enthusiasts, the fair remains a destination to discover extraordinary design in dialogue with contemporary culture, right at the heart of Miami Beach.

At the heart of the fair, the Galleries program brings together the world’s foremost design-galleries to present collectible furniture, lighting and objets d’art with museum-quality scope and depth. For 2025, galleries such as Friedman Benda and Galerie Signé will anchor the dialogue between the 20th- and 21st-centuries, showcasing both historic masters and contemporary visionaries under the theme Make. Believe.
Journey into the Wonder of Curios
The Curios section offers a focused, more experimental counterpoint to the main gallery booths. Defined as “immersive installations of design” by galleries, designers or curators that create a singular narrative or object-world, the Curios program invites fresh voices and conceptual risk-taking. Looking forward to exploring presentations by Superhouse, PET Lamp, Friends Artspace, and more.
Can’t Miss Special Projects

The Special Projects program elevates design into immersive, large-scale installations that blend architecture, narrative and craft. For 2025, Special Projects will highlight both historical and contemporary explorations of design’s frontiers. These are moments when the fair goes beyond “booth-object” format into spatial, experiential territory—perhaps a sculptural environment, a cross-disciplinary collaboration or a site-specific installation. Singular creations will be unveiled by Korea Craft and Design Foundation x Gallery LVS, fusing textiles, hanji, metal, ceramics, and furniture. Further, Hostler Burrows offers new work by visionary Kohler Arts/Industry Residency Program multimedia artist Eun-Ha Paek (South Korea).

New for 2025 is the programme strand titled Design Miami 2.0, curated by Glenn Adamson, which offers a “museum-quality showcase of eight international design studios,” each presenting a capsule collection of new work. Attending “2.0” means engaging with prototypes, emerging platforms, and studio practices that might very well shape the upcoming decade of design collecting. Prepare for especially dynamic shows including Steven Young Lee, presented by Duane Reed Gallery; Stephen Burks Man Made in collaboration with ALPI, in association with Friedman Benda; and Jack Craig presented by David Klein Gallery.
Immersive Partner Highlights
“Oblique coffee table,” 2025 by Don Cameron for Galerie SCENE OUVERTE at Design Miami 2025 (Image courtesy of Don Cameron).
Finally, the Partner Highlights section reflects the fair’s intersection of design, culture and commerce. Through brand collaborations, institutional presentations and commissioned works, this strand underscores that collectible design operates not only in gallery booths but in dialogues with fashion, luxury, cultural institutions and emerging media. Range Rover will debut “Dipped in Black” with its latest luxury vehicle the Range Rover SV Black, and “Gargantua’s Thumb by Katie Stout” will unfold as a fantastical voyage of sculptural benches in the dazzling Miami Design District.
