CASACOR Miami opened to the public on December 1, in partnership with SWIRE Properties. The 18-day experiential design exhibition takes place at Brickell City Centre’s luxury residential tower RISE. There, throughout three penthouses, 20 selected emerging and established international designers have created immersive installations and living environments.
This is the inaugural North American edition of CASACOR, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year with 26 exhibitions in six Latin American countries.
From December 1—18, presentations from Paulo Alves, Frida Baranek, Dado Castello Branco, Joan Hall, Forberto Migotto, Gustavo Neves, Suchi Reddy, Nicole Salcedo, Leo Romano, and more, showcase new furniture, textiles, lighting, color trends, home accessories, art, and music from a global, urban perspective. The event offers a unique setting and platform for design professionals, media, brands, and the public to engage via innovative and interactive demonstrations, as well as a lecture series.
Highlights include Suchi Reddy of Reddymade Design, who is presenting work and objects by Oscar Niemeyer, the Campana brothers, Studio Nucleo, Richard Prince, Andy Warhol, Hechizoo and Hélène Binet in partnership with galleries like ammann//gallery, Cristina Grajales Gallery, R & Company, Les Ateliers Courbet, Maison Atia, Henzel Studio and Friedman Benda Gallery.
