The 27th Edition of PAD Paris Unwraps a Powerful Design Showcase

This spring at PAD Paris, premier exhibitors from around the world bring diverse, thought-provoking designs from creatives at the pinnacle of their practice as well as from emerging visionaries. In turn, a regal jury will bestow three momentous awards.

On April 2 in Paris, the vivacious 27th edition of PAD Paris design fair unfolds within the majestic Jardin des Tuileries. Helmed by Co-Presidents and interior architects Laura Gonzalez and Jacques Grange, alongside Honorary President and architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, three momentous awards will debut: Best Stand Award, Best Contemporary Design Award, and Best Historical Design Award. A regal jury of perceptive curators, interior designers, architects, and aficionados including Mathilde Favier, public relations director, VIP division, Dior; Luis Laplace, architect; Fabien Vallérian, Director of External Relations, Ruinart; Carline Sarkozy, interior architect; and Richard Peduzzi, designer, will bestow PAD prizes upon the most dynamic and forward-thinking creations in an influential design showcase.

Diverse Exhibitors Showcase Emerging and Established Design Visionaries

This spring at PAD Paris, premier exhibitors from around the world bring diverse, thought-provoking designs from creatives at the pinnacle of their practice as well as from emerging visionaries. Eager collectors and design lovers will revel in experiential displays such as 5 Octobre, France with Jewelry; Yoomoota, Thailand with Contemporary Art and Design; Thomas Friitsch, France with Glass & Ceramics; Atkris Studio, Netherlands with Historical Design; and Modern Shapes Gallery, Belgium with Sculpture. 

Objects with Narratives, Switzerland, Belgium champions the art of storytelling within the realm of Contemporary Design, and works to discover meaningful links between objects and their owners. This profound space also offers incredibly rare pieces by both burgeoning artists and luminaries. Meanwhile, Galerie Du Passage, France is a fantastical sanctuary of 20th Century & Contemporary Design, and will raise the curtain on “Les Voyages d’Orlando,” a kaleidoscopic exhibition which is energized by Virginia Woolf’s tour de force novel Orlando. The imaginative team of Vincent and Anne Corbière gift a presentation of textiles, artworks, and objects that the soul-searching protagonist might have acquired during their enchanting journey across space and time.

Galerie Kreo, France, UK leads the way with shining examples of Contemporary Design. Their limited-edition masterpieces astound with singular collaborations alongside icons of design like Virgil Abloh, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Pierre Charpin, and Naoto Fukasawa. A great deal of works from Galerie Kreo can also be found throughout the most revered collections in the world, and within institutions such as MoMA and Centre Pompidou

Within a spirited platform of 20th Century Design, Alexandre Guillemain, France is a resounding connoisseur. Here, a meticulously curated presentation of works which have no doubt helped to mold the transatlantic modernist movement are at once unveiled for fairgoers. 

Maisonjaune Studio

Organic and surreal works by the skillful Christian Lapie will debut at PAD Paris 2025 with Maisonjaune Studio, France. This esteemed space is devoted to developing expressive and artistic interiors with harmonious balance and immersive scenography.

Thomas Fritsch, France places its heart in French decorative arts from 1945 to 1970, and is especially notable in its offering of post-war French ceramics. Extraordinary pieces by revelatory ceramicists of the time are showcased in top tier condition, and the gallery reveals these must-see treasures at global fairs including Design Miami/Basel, The Salon Art + Design in New York, and PAD Paris.
