On September 5 in New York, the pioneering COLLECTIBLE design fair raises the curtain on its much-anticipated, inaugural edition in the city, on view through September 8. Founded in 2018 by art and design aficionados Clélie Debehault and Liv Vaisberg, the forward-thinking event focuses in singular fashion in 21st-century design, producing seven iterations in Brussels, Belgium. For its first presentation in New York, COLLECTIBLE will activate Water Street Associates (WSA), in partnership with Water Street Projects (WSP), featuring eight platforms with over 100 exhibitors including independent designers, galleries, design studios, and international institutions.
Spaces such as Emma Scully Gallery, Umberto Bellardi Ricci, Lyle Gallery, Willett, and many more will usher in an unforgettable fall design season with tailor-made commissions, limited edition treasures, and compelling, brand-new creations. Meticulously curated categories and realms are intermeshed with vibrant on and off-site programming with groundbreaking collaborators like the Female Design Council, non-profit The World Around, Sight Unseen, and Petra Hardware.
