It would be an understatement to say that Philipp Plein is known for holding dramatic shows and boasting eclectic designs, like the designer’s extravagant spectacle presented in Milan beneath the largest conference facility center in Europe just last week.
Plein wowed the crowd with an entertaining lineup of models, walking down the runway to the beat of Chris Brown’s live performance, wearing ordain leather jumpsuits, silk evening gowns, and sharply tailored black trousers. If that wasn’t enough excitement, mid-way through, several 18-wheeler trucks full of even more models rolled onto set, shooting fire in all directions.

The fall/winter 2016 collection emphasized dramatic body-conscious silhouettes, high-sparkle embellishments, athleisure accents, while maintaining a vibrant color palette of gold, black and silver. True to the Plein pantheon, this season’s savvy play of contrasts included pairing black lace and bondage with sneakers.
