On January 24 in Paris, Alexandre Vauthier presented a sultry spring/summer 2017 haute couture collection at the Grand Palais. Garments were vibrant and voluminous in metallic, sequined, and shiny reds, whites, and blues. Super short hemlines were paired with polkadot tights and oversized bows, bulbous sleeves, and one-shoulder necklines. In one of our favorite looks, cutoff casual shorts were transformed into black tie looks with a drapey, capey red top with train.
