Fur, intricate lace, and chiffon fabric took center stage during the Blumarine fall/winter 2016 show in Milan last week. The Italian fashion house, founded by Anna Molinari and her late husband Gianpaolo Tarabini, showcased its “Moonlit Nocturne” collection, characterized by romantic hues and feminine silhouettes.
The collection’s fur could be found on coats, sandal lining, playful pom-pom earrings, dress trims, and handbags. In addition, this season’s looks also featured vibrant prints of leopard and florals against dark lace.
Known for its playful yet avant-garde vision, the fashion house concluded the show with elegant evening dresses in stripes and chiffon. The silhouettes remained consistent throughout the show with a focus on midi lengths and accentuating the waist.
