Ease in stride paralleled the effortless movement of the clothes by Boglioli. The Boglioli man is confident and completely relaxed with the new spring/summer collection for 2017. Poise and grace became one when the functionally elegant designs strolled around the Milanese gardens.
Creative Director Davide Marello created looks for a man with reserve and fluidity in a manner of immutability. Boglioli men experienced freedom in unstructured blazers, fluid summer coats, pragmatic blousons, compact knits, lace-up brogues, and loafers. The neutral palette of petrol greens, burnt neutrals, pale blues, and faded purples was inspired by the abstract painter Nicholas De Staël.
Marello aspired to create a soft-tailored collection with poetic vibrations in the gestural prints and shocks of compact color on knitwear. The collection had underlying themes of pragmatism with its patch pockets, sturdy surfaces, and a garment-dyed rucksack.
