For Fall/Winter 2013–14, Brioni delivered a rather classically elegant menswear collection for the gents that care deeply about their threads and the power of a suit. Slim fitting jackets and trousers in wool and cashmere are arranged with silk ties and crisp cotton shirts, topped off with sleek, perfectly matching overcoats. Burgundy lambswool blouson jackets and detachable mink collars are just a few of the delights in the collection, as well as chic masculine shawls in macrocheck, cashmere plaid. Color schemes are on the dark side with charcoal greys, lots of black, and the occasional surprise piece saturated in a rich jewel tone purple, burgundy, or navy.
Brioni doesn’t skimp on accessories either. This collection offers men’s Cabin and Jet Bags in crocodile, calfskin, or cashmere, as well as Document Bags, CC Holders, and Keyrings in similar textiles. Fans can also expect the same luxurious details in the shoe collection, with offerings from calfskin lace ups to sleek ankle boots and a classic loafer. This collection is one part Don Draper with a splash of Bond’s Roger Moore.
