Brunello Cucinelli SS18

Brunello Cucinelli SS18: Sporty Shapes From the ’80s

For spring/summer 2018, Brunello Cucinelli reaches to the 1980s, and pulls from the sporty details of the past. Legendary athletes, like as Arthur Ashe, Jearl Miles-Clark, Alan Rudkin, and Pelé, were guides in this execution, as a rhythm of highlights were seen in the shapes and silhouettes of many knitwear pieces, pants, and shirts. Crew necks complement V-necks, as if borrowed from old tennis uniforms, and trousers and shorts hug along the line of the leg. Casual waist belt ties are elegantly looped, bombers have a classic Varsity trim, and there’s even room for a good pocket square on the jackets. Sporty, but still super sophisticated, the new Brunello Cucinelli collection has us back in the gym, and sweating the summer wardrobe.
