Brunello Cucinelli’s spring/summer 2016 show during Milan Fashion Week combined colors, textures and silhouettes, all inspired by the resort life during the roaring 20s. The mixture of sporty and classic was achieved by pairing together bomber jackets with tailored culottes or tulle skirts and structured blazers with denim. Outerwear proved to be the highlight of this collection and something to look out for this spring, as a jacket was paired with almost every look. Knitwear was also a standout in this collection, with a mixture of chunky knits and thin pullovers. The color palette of crisp whites, natural beiges, and charcoal in organic materials of silk, cotton, and linen set a breezy, beach-y atmosphere.
