Catherine Malandrino SS14:
The South of France Beckons You

Saint Tropez is calling, and your yacht and Prosecco are waiting. Catherine Malandrino debuted her spring/summer 2014 collection in the rather expansive Pier 92 on Manhattan’s UWS to fashion hungry folk that were nothing less than nostalgic for a chic sail off the coast of the South of France.

Lifeguard red, admiral blue, peachy coral, and foamy white all respectively saturated silk dresses meant to float along with an ocean breeze, tank dresses allowed for sun-kissed shoulders, and let’s not forget the pleated shorts in perforated soft leather. Cotton pants were high-waisted and the color of oyster shell, while rompers carried a figurative sail boat print, and were worn super short and relaxed. Your summer regatta is awaiting.
